~The few pictures I did take...~

The few pictures I did take during our sunny days last week were of this cute little guy, my dear friend Becca's little Spencer.
Isn't he the sweetest?  More pictures to come of this little guy over on my photography blog.
And isn't his sister such a cheese?  Every time I pull out my camera she cracks me up.
Alec and Lyssa were much more interested in trying to climb the trees than look at the camera.
Notice those sunbathed, pink cheeks?  We finally pulled the shorts out the next day because it was just too hot to be wearing pants.  What a wonderful way to kick off Spring!

~Park Pictures~

September 1, 2009 I decided it was time to pull out my camera again. I was burnt out from our vacation, and overwhelmed by our kitchen remodel. Where better to start up again than taking pictures of my cute kids and their friends at the park.
Disclaimer: You may notice that Alec isn't in a single photo. No I was not ignoring my child. His lack of pictures is completely of his own choosing. I think he must have been photographed out on vacation. Luckily he's over it now... as you can see by the many faces of Alec post below.
The End.

~Baby Owen~

He is a calm, content little fellow, about 8 weeks old.  He calmly posed for pictures while Alec's car noises crashed all around, Lyssa sang out her usual "Oh no! Oh no!" song, and Momas chatted about potty training and the like.  I don't know many babies who could relax in the living room with my bambinos about, but this little one is special.  Even at his young age Owen already knows how to cope and enjoy a buzzing happy home because he's the lucky sixth baby of my friend, Laura.

I love this picture of Owen and Laura.  Owen turns his head to follow her voice.  He watches her.  He knows who she is and loves her dearly.
But even the most content children have their breaking points when enough is enough...
Thank you, Laura, for letting me play with your little baby.
It was an honor to photograph your sweet little prince.

~Like mother like daughter?~

Chrissy at 12 months, Lyssa at 14 months.

We may not look exactly the same, but we're cut from the same cloth.  My hair was lighter, and grew faster, but I have the same wispy curl at the bottom that I love about Lyssa's hair, and we both have the kissable chubby checks, double chin, smooth little button nose, perfectly shaped eyebrows and big eyes with long eyelashes.  Sadly if she follows my suit those perfect eyebrows with turn into bushes around 6th grade and her head of hair will do some crazy unmanageable thickening around 2nd grade.  Lucky for Lyssa she has a mama who knows how to help.  :-)
