So I've decided that this is a great place to share Alec's latest "funny moments", so read on only if you care.
Background Info: Alec has been learning all sorts of new tricks and is starting to copy us more and more as time goes on. He likes to mimic our words or phrases, facial expressions, etc. He's also been watching some 'Seasame Street' in the morning while I've been getting ready for the day. He can recognize Elmo now at the store and loves it when I sing the "Elmo's World" song. He seems to find great interest any time he hears a song on 'Seasame Street', especially if I sing it during the day too. He likes the Count songs, like "Number of the Day", etc. While Nick is not home to watch Seasame Street with us in the mornings, his memories of the show as a young child seem to be serving him well and he mimics the Count's voice very well.

Funny Alec Moment: So the other night Nick was throwing Alec up in the air above his head in the front room. Alec loves this game because every time he goes up he can see himself flying in the mirror above the piano (and Alec LOVES to look at himself in the mirror). Nick started counting like the count "One Muah ha ha" (throw Alec in the air) and "Two Muah ha ha" (throw Alec in the air), etc. Alec got quite a kick out of this and eventually when Nick would say "One" Alec would follow with "Muah ha ha" and then Nick would throw him up in the air. It turned into a fabulous game, and now any time I count slowly Alec will say "Muah ha ha" (and of course expect to be thrown up in the air). We joke that Alec is Nick's only exercise these days, so it's probably a good thing the little man weighs 22 lbs!

What a neat way to teach Alec to count and follow progressions! I love the picture too. Alec is a wonderful joy. Both you and Nick are great joys to us as well. Thank you for making the site easier.
Nick, good luck in finding ways to get exercise in spite of the office and commuting environment.
I love you add,
DAD/Grandpa Steve/Steve
