Four Years, Lots of Twos

Four years ago this morning, Nick and I were married in the Jordan River Temple. I've been thinking about how much we've changed since then, or more specifically how much I've changed. In only four years we've had lots of TWOS: two houses, bought two cars, received two degrees, taken two different jobs, and added two munchkins to our family. If we had a dog (or two), someone could write a country song about us. Instead of country though, I'm listening to Moulin Rouge (some of you may be too old to have been apart of that craze... personally I wouldn't recommend the movie, but I LOVE the soundtrack).Our fairytale isn't that different from many of my readers, but it's still our special day to remember. It was freezing that cloudy, sleety, November day, but I don't remember being cold. I just remember feeling excited and crazy! Like in the above photo saying "Ahhh! I can't believe we just got married! " I think the next photo in the series is of Nick blowing on my hands though, so it must have been pretty cold. You like how he's holding on to my cold hands so tight, yelling right along with me? I do too. It's a great depiction of our relationship. (No I'm not saying that we yell at each other... at least not on a regular basis.) It's more like "If you're in, I'm in. We'll support each other, love each other, help each other. We'll do this together." So as is cheesily sung in Moulin Rouge (track 11), "Come what may. I will love you till my dying day" and beyond.

Or as Elder Wirthlin so eloquently put it "Come what may and (we'll) love it (together)!"

***And on a narcissistic note, MAN! I had good hair that day!
