Right now I feel like this...
Can anyone help me feel more like this? (without meds please... and no, exercising won't do the trick on this one either)
I've never been so frustrated at a computer program as I am right now trying to publish my blog with Blurb. Why is there no other way to publish a blogger blog except copy and paste, and find your photos all over again? BAAHH! On top of the fact that you can no longer slurp (their term for moving photos and text directly from your blog to their book making program) their software is flawed and ridiculously slow. At first I thought it was my computer... but then I got this MacBook Pro with all sorts of power and speed and the Blurb bookmaker program is still giving me all sorts of nasty, bitter grief.
So why not just walk away and give up?
1. I want to turn my blog into a book for posterity's sake.
2. I have already copied and pasted over an entire year... Like I have 20 posts to go (well, a few posts and then finding all the stinking photos that go with a years worth of posts). I really don't want to start the copy and paste bit all over again.
Blurb does work with LiveJournal and Wordpress (two other blogging formats) but I can not find a good way to convert my blogger blog to LiveJournal or Wordpress. I suppose if I understood html, etc. I could probably find a way, but right now I just feel stuck and frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Anyone know of any other programs that can "slurp" my blog from one format to another, or even better slurp my blog into a book? Can anyone out there help me? Anyone? This is the point where those computer nerd guys who lived down the hall in college would really come in handy...

It's hard to feel sorry for you when you put such cute pics of Lyssa up! I want to eat her...
Really though, I wish I had an answer for you. I want to make a book as well. Let me know if/when you find a better way.

Funny that you should blog about this at the exact same time my other friend blogged about it as well. From her blog.. she said that Blurp e-mailed her at 5 am this morning and said they are back to slurping... but she had already copied and pasted everything.

Does this mean you can do it with blogger again?
I actually got my blog to slurp after a few months of waiting. Have you tried it recently? I know what you feel. I felt the same way. I looked and looked and no one else does it. Let me know how it goes.
