Last night I put him to bed a little later than usual because #1 I was exhausted and didn't feel like fighting him to bed, and #2 I wanted to see if he would just go right to sleep without the serenade if maybe he was more tired when I put him to bed. Turns out it doesn't matter what time of day I put him down, he needs to sing his little heart out for a while, which (to be honest) totally melts my heart and makes my day. I caught this on video (outside his room... sorry there isn't any video. I would love a hidden camera to see what he's doing while he's singing... but for now this will have to do. )
Enjoy! I sure do.

Oh my gosh, this kid is too much! Never a dull moment with cute Alec!
I wish you had time to tape this every night! No video needed.
That was soooooooooooo cute! I hope my baby sings herself to sleep someday... that's the cutest thing I've heard in a long time.
What a stud! That's soooo cute!
More singing! I want to hear more. :-)
That is really cute! Hearing little voices sing is something close to heavenly!
you are VERY MUCH appreciated in your calling btw, Brent & I say just about every sunday that we are glad you are in there. Sarah was begging to go to nursery during sacrament, then she fell asleep, but when she did wake up
(10 minutes before church ended) she wanted to "go to nursery and sing songs!" The kids love you and so do we.
