This was another day all about me. Friday evening Nick flew into Salt Lake airport and I picked him up wearing this beautiful black silk dress.

We headed over to Downtown Salt Lake and dined at the Macaroni Grill, one of my favorite restaurants (even if our waiter was really weird and rude to the other waiters). We stayed the night at the beautiful historic Peery Hotel...

and went exploring around the Salt Lake Farmer's Market at Pioneer Park and the Gateway Mall in downtown. Nick took this opportunity to photograph the crazy out of our family photographer (moi). I think he was trying to give me a taste of my own medicine.

On our way home we had a brief stop in Draper so I could introduce Nick to the goodness I call Ikea. Even with their affordable prices I could go bankrupt in there. Stuff Mart to the max! I stayed in control of myself for the most part, but I did get some cute bowls that I've been pining over since I last took a trip to Ikea. Now if only I could convince Nick that we really do need the lovely matching salad and dinner plates. sigh...
We arrived home to find the babies happy, healthy, and loving their Uncle Robert. Honestly, what's not to love? I could sit and listen to the guy sing and play the guitar for hours.
We love you more than tea parties, blast off games, and your beautifully Zoey guitar, Robert! wink!

That black dress is really cute.
If there is ever an event that we are both going to where you might wear that dress, please call me, 'cause I have the same one. I love it on me, but it looks waaaaay better on you. Plus, how awkward would it be to wear the same dress? Shameful, I tell you.
PS I'm starting to wonder if I turned you into a Martin + Osa monster or something. *wink*
