~Adventures in Utah 2009: Day 7~

Sunday we packed up the van and my parents Camry and headed up North to Cache Valley! Nick drove my parents car with Lyssa in tow, and Alec and I had the van all to ourselves. He watched Incredibles off and on and in between we had great conversation and sang songs together for at least a half hour. We arrived to see many happy faces, including this little cutie, my sweet new nephew Kasyn! Isn't he the sweetest little guy?The babies love Grandma and Grandpa Parkinson's house.... well really they love their yard and big shed. They live on 5 acres of beautiful grass with a nice garden, fruit trees, a big hill for slip and sliding, and a trampoline. Oh that trampoline! Alec was hesitant at first, but quickly decided it was his favorite place to be. He would jump for hours and hours if we would let him. Lyssa, too, loves the trampoline and has no fear running full force towards the edge, requiring three or four people to stand guard around the tramp at all times. Lyssa flew all over the place thanks to Alec's big bounces. She did some pretty crazy dives on the tramp, and enjoyed every minute of it. Since the tramp was black and dirty we decided clothes were optional. Much easier to clean the black off their skin instead of white linen dresses and shirts. :-)
We also had a blast watching Nichelle do some pretty cool tricks on the tramp. Look at that girl bend like that flying through the air. I've always wanted to learn how to do a back handspring... so cool!
Lyssa and I also spent a great deal of time admiring Grandma Lael's pretty flowers and picking and eating fresh raspberries right off the bush. I had to hold myself back from running inside to grab the camera, but instead stayed and laughed and savored the moment with my little miss Lyssa Lou. What a cute, silly little girl she is becoming. I loved every minute...
