Remember the front tree in our yard that I posted about here and here? Well, look at the little beauties it's covered with now!
Each day a few more leaves fall off and the berries get brighter, like little red jewels calling to all the birds who pass by on their southward journey. Sadly a few of these birds have flown into my front window, abruptly ending their life and making my heart skip a beat. 
And to think when we moved in I thought this tree was diseased and dying.
I'm so glad we didn't cut it down. :-)

It is a beautiful tree that brings much joy.
we used to have that kind of tree in our yard. i'll have to ask my mom what kind it was for ya.
