Another fun Halloween has come and gone. I feel like I blinked and suddenly we were at the end of October and we were rushing here and there to different fun activities. It was so much fun but I always feel five steps behind. I'm afraid I'm going to feel like this all throughout the holiday season this year.
As planned Nick was Clark Kent, Superman's Alter Ego, Alec was Superman, and Elyssa was Supergirl.
They all did a fine job of acting the part.
I had originally planned on being Louis Lane, but realized that none of my clothes fit... not even my trench coat. Instead I opted to load on the eye shadow, pull out all my sparkly hair pieces, throw on som wings and be The Great Pumpkin Fairy... as I was carrying around my little pumpkin for the evening.

My cute super family (plus pumpkin).
What fun we had trunk or treating with friends at the church and then Trick or Treating on Beggars Night with the Welch Family. Once the kids warmed up to the idea Alec was an unstoppable machine, running three houses ahead of us shouting out H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N like a cheerleader. Lyssa was a trooper but eventually asked me to carry her bucket and it was getting heavy with candy. It was awesome and the kids had so much fun.
I can't wait until we do it again next year!

What fabulous costumes!
Oh my goodness Lyssa's boots are to die for! I love all the costumes!
Ryan went on and on about your cute kids: How he never even heard Cordy cry, how Alec and him were buds, and how Lyssa's vocabulary is WAY WAY WAY beyond her age. "She sounded like she was 30!" were his exact words. "And she pronounces everything so well!"
He was more than impressed with all of you. Thanks again for taking him in!
Love the super costumes. Caden is a huge fan!
Thanks for trick or treating with us! Your family was adorable, as always.
