The last few weeks have been AMAZING! I've really enjoyed the cool crisp mornings and sunny afternoons decorated with bright happy colored leaves. We've taken advantage of the lovely weather with weekly (sometimes bi-weekly) picnic lunches with Daddy dearest at our favorite park near his work.
Every time I always say I wish I had brought my camera. Well, finally on Friday I remembered. I'm so glad I did.
The slow transition to frigid temperatures has left me in denial that Old Man Winter actually is actually on it's way. Can't it stay beautiful forever?
I'll just have to enjoy my colorful world while it lasts.

Those pictures are fabulous, especially the sequence with Lyssa. We went on a walk yesterday and I was in awe of the leaves. If winter wasn't on its way, this might be my favorite time of year.
Ooooh beautiful pictures! They sure make me miss Iowa lots. And, as usual, your children are adorable and darling. They are getting so big and grown up!!
Love your pictures, Chrissy, especially that last one!
Yes, beautiful! It's not important to believe Old Man Winter is on his way. Enjoy the warmth while you have it!
