Cinnamon rolls have been a conference morning tradition since Nick and I got married. I usually just pop them out of a can but this time I decided to make them from scratch. The lighting may look gross, but I promise they were a delightful sugar high.
Smoothies are always on the menu during conference time. I throw the veggies on the tray in pretty colors to see if I can entice us to eat something besides sugar all weekend.
I don't get too stressed about my kids sitting and watching every session of conference, but I do try to keep them in the area for at least one session on Sunday.
I realized quickly we were going to need some help so I paused conference, ran upstairs to find some treats, post-its and cups. We came up with three commonly used words in conference and any time the speaker used one of those words the kids got to get a treat out of the cup. Yummy and they actually listened! I was excited.
It was a great weekend spent together as a family and I look forward to reading through all those conference talks I missed.

I would love one of those cinnamon rolls! You have great ideas for watching conference with kiddos. They are so lucky.
It's awesome to celebrate watching conference. That way it's a happy Sunday instead of one where Sacrament Meeting lasts two hours.
