On Nick's birthday I sent him the following message: "Happy rainy day Friday the 13th on the 30th birthday of the love of my life! Thank you for making my life and the life of our children so wonderful. Good thing you're not a superstitious man! :-)"
Yes, my dearest Nicholas turned the ripe old age of 30. His co-workers decorated his cubical with candy and superman wrapping paper and then he came home to giant backyard barbeque with friends. We ended the night with more treats and a movie.
I'm pretty sure he had a fabulous day.
He's got to be one of the youngest (and handsomest) looking 30 year olds I've ever seen. Look at all that fire! I'm glad we didn't set off the smoke detectors.
