(Did you know the musical State Fair is all about the Iowa State Fair?)
About a month ago we ventured out to the Iowa State Fair to get our fill of fried food, carnival rides, majestic horses, farm animals and tractors. We seriously spent almost two hours climbing on and examining tractors. (Heaven for Nick and Alec.) Sadly my camera battery died about 30 minutes after we got there (which is funny because the first year we lived here we went to the the State Fair and our camera battery died 20 minutes after we got there). I still have a few fun shots to share.
So much fun! We'll surely be back next year... hopefully with a fully charged battery.

There's a musical named "State Fair?" yikes, shows how little I know about musicals! Looks like the tractors where a hit. And how was the chocolate covered bacon this year? I love state fairs!
