~NYC: Turning 27~

I opened my iphoto library and was blown away at how far behind I am in my blog.  It's been a really fun, exciting, busy summer.  I just haven't had the motivation to keep up, especially knowing I had hundreds of NYC photos to sort through... but I'm finally going to do it!  Here's my kick off to Chrissy's Amazing 27th Birthday Bash (also known as our trip to NYC)!

I've always made a big deal out of my own birthday, often having celebrations for a whole week rather than one day.  Sometimes I just make the entire month of May ALL ABOUT ME.  That's right!  Between Mother's Day and my birthday, May is the month all about me.  I've dreamed of going to NYC with my handsome husband for my birthday for years, but never thought it would actually happen.  Well, this year we found out my sister and her husband were moving from The Big Apple area to Pittsburg.  We had to act fast if we were going to visit with the ultimate tour guides (Erin and Ryan) so we made the crazy decision to dive head first into this trip and bring the three kiddos along for the ride.  

No one in their right mind would do this, but who ever said we were in the right mind?  Maybe were left minded people? :-)

So off we went to NYC with the two most awesome guides/helpers/family members ever.  We had soooo much fun and got tons of really neat shoots thanks to Erin and Ryan.  I don't think I've been photographed that much in years!  See this weekend really was all about me! ;-)

So over the next few posts be prepared to sit back, relax, and being overstimulated with pictures from one of the most overstimulating places I've ever been... The City That Never Sleeps.
