~Family Singing~

I come from a very musical family.  In fact, I may very well be the least musically talented of all my siblings.  Luckily they don't seem to mind too much and let me join in on all the fun.  At Christmas time there is always lost of music and caroling and fun.  This year was no different.
Grandma Shannon with sweet Cordy baby.  The two of us talked and decided to volunteer our family to sing on Christmas morning in my ward (since I'm the ward music leader and am charged with setting up all the musical numbers).  We decided that we would do one of our staple family Christmas songs, Peace Peace/Silent Night.
Robert and Ryan both brought their backpacker guitars to accompany us and we broke into three different parts.  We even got Elyssa, Liz and Caitlin to join in on our singing, despite their initial reluctance.  We are a crazy crew and it can be a bit overwhelming at first to join in on a Starks Family sing.
Despite the breaking into parts, multiple practices, and the guitars coming with us to church Christmas morning, my dad somehow didn't get the message that we were actually performing IN CHURCH until they announced us. Surprise!!  Good thing he was paying attention when we were practicing.  :-)
Our song went off without a hitch.  Perfect.
I love my musical family.

I am quite certain that I am actually the least musically talented Starks child. I can't sing the harmony for ANYTHING. I have to be a soprano.
