The day after everyone arrived we had some serious shopping to do. My mom still had some Christmas shopping she needed to finish and we had lots of stops to make. It seems like this happens every Christmas, and we always have so much fun. (On a side note, we did not plan the grey strip thing. I came home from the hotel already dressed and my mom and sister were already dressed when I got there... I promise!)
Lyssa Lou came along for all the fun and did really well considering we had to fight through traffic going to Target, Kohls, Costco and Trader Joes. By the end she was getting a little grumpy so we dropped her off at the house before heading on to World Market, Best Buy, Home Depot, and the Mall. (We couldn't find a little suit for Alec anywhere! Well, that's not entirely true. We couldn't find one anywhere for less than $65.)
All that shopping wore me out. I hadn't spent that much time away from Cordy very many times before in my life and I'll be honest that by the end of the day I missed my baby girl, my feet were tired, and my back ached a bit, but I still had a blast.
I love getting to spend time with my mom and sister.
They are two of my favorite people in the whole wide world.
