After an overnight delay, Nick arrived in Utah. Yay! The next morning was Sunday so we got dressed up and went to church. Then we came home and made a feast and had tons and tons of family come, though we somehow managed to not get any pictures of them. Multiple desserts were eaten along with lots of other good food and fun conversation.
The evening ended with bedtime stories by grandpa, fun conversation, and many many games of Ticket to Ride with Robert and Liz. Fun!
Since we were going to be at the Esplin Family Reunion on my Dad's birthday we decided to have a family celebration earlier in the week. Mike made amazing mexican food, Grandma Shannon made awesome chocolate cake, and the kids and I made a candybar birthday card for Grandpa Steve. We had a great time!
After presents we did VIP for my Dad and (as usual) I cried. I love my Daddy something fierce. It's not often that I get a picture with just my parents, especially now that I have cute little munchkins. I thought this was a nice picture of all three of us.
Next stop Independence Day!!!!
