Alec learns to walk!

On January 27th, Alec's 13 month birthday, the little guy decided to take his very first steps! He's been walking along furniture for months... in fact he was walking along furniture way before he learned to crawl, but when it came to walking without holding on to anything he was very hesitant. However, he finally felt motivated to walk on his own! He's so proud of himself and loves to walk between mom and dad (or grandma). Sometimes he falls into your arms and gives you a big hug and a nice cheesy grin. :-) We love it and think it's great that he's learning and growing so much! He also learned how to climb stairs with grandma's help, but is much more hesitant. He needs to figure out how to go down when he wants to and then we think he'll feel more confident in his new skill. Our sweet little baby boy is growing up!
