Our first day in Puerto Rico was spent in the San Juan area. Erin and Ryan used the magical GPS to give us directions to Old Town, where we explored the narrow streets and coast. I was awestruck by the brightly colored buildings (check out that lime green one down the street!)...
Lyssa rode around in style, attached to Nick via the amazing Baby Bjorn, taking in all the brightly colored spicy smelling stimuli...
All the roads through Old Town were paved with bricks, many of them painted a beautiful bright blue...
The Parents (as they are called by a number of their offspring) were very cute and very chill together...
The flowers, the architecture, all so beautiful and amazing...
Alec spent most of his time with Mike, though he rotated through all his uncles at some point. Here they are exploring one of the oldest cathedrals in the "New World" which was build in 1510, shortly after Christopher Columbus arrived in Puerto Rico.
This picture is partially to pay homage to my big babolicious sunglasses, that were broken by a small child the next day. I also love this picture because it looks like Nick decided I needed more volume, so he gave me palm tree hair...
Look at those blue skies... so clear, so beautiful, so therapeutic for an already winter worn Chrissy. Robert adds a nice touch with his straw fedora...
Down come Nick with his wing men (okay, so maybe they aren't really his wing men, but if he needed them I'm sure they would oblige) and the babies to see the sights of the coast...
Alan and my Dad enjoyed the views, looking like they were having some sort of philosophical discussion about death. Why death you ask?
Because they were looking at an old grave yard full of above ground graves and elaborate tomb stones.
Nick and Lyssa enjoyed seeing the bright blue water, and I think Lyssa also enjoyed sitting for a change...
Robert using the walls of the old fort to continue his ongoing work out, getting ready for Boot Camp next month (more on that topic coming soon)...
Oh, what a pretty baby, with her Moma and Grandma to dote on her...
All the family ladies: Erin, Caitlin (my rockin cousin and Erin's Maid of Honor), Moma Shannon, Yours Truly, and Lyssa Lou in all her glory.
Alec was such a trooper, walking and being carried, staying with the group far away from the sharp drop off to the ocean.
Though you would never guess by Alan's classic facial expressions, I have it on good authority that he enjoyed himself...
Now back down the long steep hills to the car to change diapers, eat lunch, and take a long nap while we drive to...
The RAIN FOREST...
(Tune in next time to hear all about it!)

Great story, Chrissy! Is it all done with photoshop, or were we really there?
