~September Photos~

I've been in kind of a blogging rut as of late. I'm a month and a half behind and I just can't seem to get in my groove to start posting again... mostly because I'm overwhelmed by the sheer number of photos to sort through and post about Costa Rica. (Then there is the fact that the kids have been super sick, I've been careing for said sick children, I got sick, and Nick went out of town for a week.) To help get my groove back I decided post some long lost beauties that somehow were forgotten last September. You know, that period of time right after I had a baby and Nick went to Mexico? Yeah. That's when these were taken... hence they were forgotten.
I may have felt physically exhausted, slightly sleep deprived, and just all around out of it, but with Grandma here to help we somehow found ourselves at the playground with all three kiddos on a Friday afternoon. To mix things up we invited Alec's BFF, Harrison, to come along.
Much playing, merry making, and exploring ensued.
All the way around you could say we had a good time... well except for Cordy who was asleep in the carseat the entire time... and in all honesty I still wasn't up to running and climbing yet. (All I can say is THANK GOODNESS those days are behind me!)
Still it was good to get out and get some sunshine and play outside of the house where my two little mischief makers could burn off some energy.
I look at these pictures of my kids in short sleeves with green grass and warm sun shining down and can't help but get excited for warm weather to come. If the next month goes as fast as the last month Spring will be here before we know it!

Great pics! I'm always excited to see pics of Harrison here because they always turn out so nice.

My favorite pic is the one you captured of Elyssa holding on to the boys and laughing on that slide. Priceless!

We are so thankful for the Parkinsons!!

I remember it was Harrison that started that stand-on-the-motorcycle business--then everybody had to do it!
