I love having talented friends. I love sitting back benefitting from others amazing abilities. One such friend is the Amazing Liz. This is going to sound incredibly self centered, but she has taken some of the best pictures of me. Ever. She knows how to make me feel like I look beautiful... and not just any photographer can do that! She is just amazing like that. When Cordy was two weeks old I coerced her into coming over one morning to take pictures of my tiny little one. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed... but I had no idea I would be floored when I saw the results!
Lyssa being so loving.
Was Cordy really this little?
I've always loved to watch her smile in her sleep...
She's always been a chill baby.
So tiny her eyes were still a little swollen.
This one above could be entitled "Feeling Displaced".
Very fitting with the mood of my Little Lyssa during that time. Thankfully I think we've all adjusted since then. ;-)
Again, my vanity comes out... but I love the above picture of me. Cordy looks super cute too, but I see that and think "That's not what I looked like two weeks after having a baby when I looked in the mirror! How did Liz do that???"
I never thought I would be into the naked baby pictures, but I love this shot. I love the green chair (same one I used for our family pictures a few weeks later) and I love that her tiny little green bow matches the chair. I was so sad a few months ago when I realized that sweet little bow doesn't fit anymore.
This last one is one of my favorites as well, which will surely be added to the Love/Kissing Wall on my master bedroom staircase. It's a great representation of just how much I utterly adored my tiny little Cordelia... and still do! She is my angel baby.
I couldn't ask for a sweeter little lady.

Liz really did do an amazing job! It helps that you and your kids are so photogenic, of course!
these pictures are amazing. and you and little cordelia are beautiful!
That one on the green chair is perfect! What kind of camera did she use?
Liz is one of my photography heroes. You look AMAZING!
So sweet:-) So glad she's not so tiny now so she can handle all the pathogens going around. Hope she gets well soon.
