Babysitting Group!

Shortly after we moved here we joined a babysitting group with some friends. How it works is we each take turns watching all the kids for a few hours in the evening on Saturday night. This way you get three out of four Saturday evenings to go on a date with your hubby without having to pay a dime for babysitters! Woohoo! We opted out of the babysitting group for a couple months after Elyssa was born, but we recently jumped back in and oh what fun! The kids are a blast and they all have such fun and happy personalities! They aren't all the same age, but they all play together really well and are so cute together.
Saturday night we pulled out the ball popper for the first time and that provided over an hour of fun for everyone. They all seemed rather excited too when I climbed on the couch and started reading stories. It's was kind of cute how one by one they came over and wanted in on the story. :-) Our kids were a little bit overwhelmed at first by all the fun (Alec woke up from a nap right after everyone came), but they got used to it, and everyone was really sweet and gentle with Lyssa. What fun little friends we have. :-)
