Saturday we took the babies to go meet Santa. Lyssa wasn't sure how she felt about being plopped on a strangers lap, but surprisingly didn't cry. Alec knew exactly what he wanted.... a little snow shovel, and a Buzz Lightyear, Woody, a green race car named RC, and some new books. Santa didn't even get a chance to ask him what he wanted. Alec just started right into it.

It was a quick visit with Santa, lasting maybe 25 seconds... he was ready for his cookie break.

The kids treasured their special crayons and coloring books from Santa for the next two days, insisting on bringing them EVERYWHERE. It was all very cute. Alec's just left hoping that everything goes his way with Santa. I let him know that he shouldn't worry. Santa knows what he's getting for Christmas from Grandmas, Grandpas, etc and won't duplicate presents, but will
definitely deliver something
exciting.... Let the magical years begin!

I can't wait for Jakob to get into Christmas like Alec is this year. Next year I think he'll be excited for more than the Christmas lights to turn on and off.
