We actually decorated the day after Thanksgiving back in November. The kids (with Alec leading the way) begged and pleaded to put up the Christmas tree for days, so we set the tree up late Thanksgiving night and decorated as a family the next morning.
Lyssa made sure to sing "Happy Birthday to Christmas!" many many times that morning. Look at the excitement in her eyes! She doesn't even understand presents or Santa. She just loves Christmas!
Likewise Alec was really really excited! So excited he couldn't bother taking the time to put on his pants. Actually, he rarely wears pants these days...
Alec needed a little help decorated up high. On a side note, look how long my hair has grown! Look how much my color has faded too. Sad. I hear it's because I take hot showers... and I'm not about to give up that relaxing, stress relieving luxury.
Little Lyssa Lou would eat that pear up! Good thing I moved it up high.
I'm not sure what song he's singing here, but man that little guy is a character.

You hair is getting really long. I noticed it at the Christmas party and thought to myself her hair was a lot shorter when I met her. I wish my hair grew that fast. (And was a little more thick like yours.) Have I ever mentioned that I am completly jealous of your hair.
