I found my two mischievous older children sitting around Cordy the other day with their hands on top of her sleepy little head. I asked "What are you two doing? Why are you messing with Baby Cordy when she's sleeping?"
Slightly annoyed by my line of questioning, Alec replied "Mom, we are giving her a blessing."
He then proceeded to say a few words about being loved and blessed and closed his little prayer. I smiled and giggled to myself as the two of them jumped up and dance away to their next game.
So there you have it. Cordy has officially been blessed.
(But don't worry Grandma and Grandpa Parkinson. We'll do the real deal at church when you come visit in November! Yea!! We can't wait.)

I love the things that come out of Alec's mouth.
Maybe they can bless her to sleep better at night:-)
I love how they work together.
