~Seven Days Old~

I blinked and suddenly Cordelia was seven days old.  

How does that happen?

This little lady is so chill, so calm, so quiet, and so very sleepy all the time.  Thankfully that means she gets nice long stretches of sleep at night, even in the very beginning.  We're crossing our fingers that this behavior lasts forever, but if not we'll still love her to bits.  Personally I can't resist kissing that sweet little face over and over again.  

We know that this sleepy behavior could also have something to do with her jaundice.  Poor little lady has had some pretty high numbers.  The picture below is untouched (unlike the photos above).  For a while sweet Cordelia really was that yellow.  Yikes!  

In case you were wondering, at 7 days the older two cute kiddos are slowly adjusting to all the changes.  It's been crazy, and sometimes Nick and I look at each other and wonder what we got ourselves into, but then there are sweet times like this...  

and we know everything will balance out eventually.  We'll get into a routine, a groove, and we'll all roll into a new norm.  It just takes time.  :-)
