I love our green chair. We found it at a Goodwill shortly after we moved to Iowa and had to buy it. Not only is it the coolest color, but it's super comfy and has served well as a rocking chair in our kids rooms. We threw it in the back of the van last year and took some family pictures with it on a dirt road.
This year I told Nick I wanted a cornfield. So a cornfield it is! He is such a good sport.
We try not to take ourselves too seriously.
Alec at age 4 1/2.
Elyssa at age 3 1/2.
Cordelia at age 1.
Our three crazy munchkins.
Nick (with his facial hair) and I (with my lions main).
I'm thinking we may make this a tradition.
Where should we take our green chair next year?

My one regret is not getting family pictures in a cornfield. I told Jacob I wanted them the summer we moved there but we just never made it happen. Look forward to seeing were the green chair akes you next year.
Connecticut in the fall!
Such lovely pictures. And so very Iowan.
LOVE this Chrissy. What a neat tradition. I vote Austin... say in February? :) Miss you!
They're so good that the lady at Sam's Club doesn't believe you when you tell her that you took them.
I LOVE these pictures. Can't believe how grown-up Cordy looks, and the portrait of you and Nick is awesome! It is no wonder that people don't think you took the pictures. Can't wait 'til Christmas!!!
