~Halloween Preview~

It was a Monday night. We made our way over to a large retail store for our Family Home Evening activity in hopes of finding big beautiful carving pumpkins and Halloween costumes.  Everyone came away pleased as punch, with plans of spending all day Tuesday (the day Nick has class in the evening) lazying about in costumes or playing superheros.  I went to bed so happy to already have a plan for my longest day of the week. Then Tuesday morning came and we tried on those costumes. Neither of them fit!  There was quite an uproar from the little ones with loud cries of foul play and injustice.   Out of pure desperation I took all three kids by myself to TWO different stores to get the sizes we needed.
Afterwards I felt like Superwoman (and I say rightfully so).
As you can see below, they are already being put to great use.
(When I was cleaning up dinner with Cordy I noticed it was a little too quite in our house.  Nick when looking for the mischief makers and found them in the living room sitting together looking at books.  I had to take a picture.  I LOVE that they do stuff like this together all day long.)
Super Girl
 Super Man
Nick is planning on dressing up as Clark Kent, with me by his side as Lois Lane.  Genius, no?
Cordy will be a pumpkin.  Not quite on theme, but it works... and it's free!
I just can't get over my dynamic duo!
How I love and adore my little super heros!

Seriously, I would love it if we could create a pumpkin patch with Sofie and Cordy.
