After a week of sniffles, runny noses, coughing, sleepless nights and many tears we took Cordelia in to the doctor again to see if she had an ear infection. Boy oh boy, did she have an ear infection! She had a double ear infection and broncialitis. Nick brought her home with instructions for meds every 12 hours and nebulizer breathing treatments every four hours. He was leaving for Mexico the next day. 
I had Nick give her the first treatment to show me how everything works before he headed out of town. Poor Cordy was not happy about the mask over her face, but Nick kept her laughing every once and a while.
Afterwards she was able to breath like a champ and it made her so happy. It was so nice to see her smile after a few days of very sad baby.
I swear, haven't I posted about this before? Oh wait! I did here! Only last time it was Elyssa and she was over a year old and quite the strong little lady. Cordy cries a lot during her treatments but Alec is a great distractor for her. Funny that I'm wearing the same sweatshirt in both posts.
Here's to hoping we don't have to use this Nebulizer again any time soon!

Alec and Nick are so good at getting her to laugh! I'm so glad that things are better now, and I feel so bad that you had to do this while Nick was gone. You truly deserve one of those "I can do hard things" necklaces!
