Before Elyssa was born Alec and I would try and go have lunch with Nick once a week. We usually pick Nick up and go to a resturant or over to the Mall and eat leftovers from home. At the Mall we can also walk around after we're done eating despite the freezing weather outside. (I'm looking forward to Spring and Summer when we can eat at the playground and go for walks at the parks near Nick's work.) Anyway, Friday it was above freezing outside and I was feeling daring so I loaded up both the kids (a feat in itself) and we went up and had a nice picnic lunch with Nick at the Mall. Alec had a blast and would smile with everyone who walked by. After we ate Nick took him into the play area. We thought it was kind of funny that Alec crawled straight to the books the library donated instead of trying to play on the slides. :-) What a funny little boy. With Daddy's help he got to enjoy the playground.
