Saturday, March 9th I decided to take Elyssa in to the doctor because she had kept us up most of the night the two nights previous wanting to be held up right. She cried every time we would lay her down and I was worried that with the cold Alec passed on she had an ear infection. Luckily my amazing visiting teacher was able to watch Alec so I didn't have to take him with me while I sat in the waiting room of the after hours clinic for over an hour to see a nurse practitioner. I was happy to learn that she did not have an ear infection, but she did weigh in at 91/2 lbs! My tiny little girl was huge! I think that Alec throws my perception of weight gain totally off because no matter how big she gets, she still seems to light and small in comparison! I'm glad she is growing well and is healthy and happy... and that she didn't catch anything in that waiting room full of coughing kids. :-)
