A mischievous little boy and his hat

Alec has become quite the mischievous little boy lately. He loves to explore things and take things apart and get into things... especially when he's tired. He also has taken a liking to his baseball cap. He wants to wear it all the time and will ask for it minutes after he wakes up. I think he looks great in hats and I love that he's figuring out how to put it on himself so I don't have to keep doing it over and over for him. What a funny little kid.
Lately I've found him in his cap pulling all our books off the bookshelf... and he's not very nice to our books. He's nice and soft to his books, but for some reason mommy and daddy's books are just asking to be pulled out, stomped on, and torn apart. Yesterday after I put him down for a nap instead of putting back all my books, I took them all out and moved them to the basement and put all his books in the bookshelf. I spent way too much time trying to make them look nice and organized only to realize that I better take a picture because they'll never look this good again. Such is life of a mother of two babies.

Elyssa slept sweetly in the swing while I was busy organizing until the mischievous little boy woke up and came out to poke her. :-)
