~Starks Family Photos: Christmas 2009~

The day after Christmas I convinced my talented friend, Liz, to come take family pictures for us. We originally planned to go to a cool park, but with the temps below zero we decided to take pictures in my backyard. It may not be the prettiest place on earth, but it sure was nice to be able to run inside and warm up so quickly! It was extremely bright outside, making it hard to keep our eyes open. We still had lots of fun though and everyone was very cooperative.

(This one will replace our family Christmas photo from last year... I like to keep one up in the house all year long to remind us of the happy holidays)

At the end of all the pictures Ryan pulled out the music to "Bless Us All" from The Muppet Christmas Carol. It's one of our families favorite Christmas movies, and we've been singing thissong for years. Everyone gathered around the piano, and being the musical family we are, sang out with pride. Liz just laughed and started snapping photos. My mom was glowing.
