~Idaho Vacation 2011: RockHaus~

Our last night in Idaho we took the older to kiddos and Nichelle and headed down to Logan for some indoor rock climbing.  I was really impressed with how well our kids climbed!  Neither of them wanted to go very high, but they did get up the wall, pulling and climbing all on their own.  Suprisingly, Alec was much more willing to climb than Lyssa, even though she has typically been our climber.  Alec seemed to really trust in the rope, and despite flying off the wall and flipping upside down on the rope, he still got down and started up again.  I was impressed!
Nick and Nichelle did some pretty tough climbs. I really enjoyed the challenge of a few climbs and found myself wishing we lived in a place were we could regularly climb together as a family.  What fun!
We were practically the only people there and our kids were really entertaining for the workers.  I loved having the place to ourselves.  By the time we headed home Lyssa was exhausted, going from silly dances, crying, laughing and falling asleep on the floor.  That girl has a wide range of emotions when she is exhausted, just like her mama.  :-)  We had a blast and it was soooo nice to have Nichelle there to help.  What a fun way to spend our last night in Idaho before saying our goodbyes and heading back to Iowa.
It was so great to see everyone and watch our kids interact with cousins, aunts, uncles, and especially their beloved grandparents.
We love you, miss you, and can't wait to see you again!!!
