When I was living in Oklahoma, this beautiful home is where my Grammie lived. Some of my earliest memories are from this house. Sometime over the years my Grammie and her husband moved down the street a single level home and Uncle Sam bought this house. He and his lovely, talented wife, Diana, have fixed it up over the years and kept it looking absolutely beautiful. While we were visiting Grammie we were sure to go down and visit with Uncle Sam too.
I spent many hot days eating yummy food on this wrap around porch or swinging on the porch swings with my sister. I even have a picture of me in a beautiful Easter dress my mom made for me, leaning against that front pole.

Cordy was a little nervous about yet another new face, but warmed up quickly to Uncle Sam. I think he really enjoyed meeting "Baby Maggie" and called her a beautiful baby many times. I think here bright eyes and friendly smile are beautiful too. :-)

I didn't have the best lighting to work with as it was almost dark outside, but I still got lots of pictures of this beautiful, immaculately decorated home. Isn't that desert rose china beautiful?

There are accents of red all through this house that I love. I am not a decorator, but over the years I have got many of my own home decorating ideas from the beautiful place.

The backyard even looks amazing! I have many memories of my Uncle Sam telling stories with his big voice on this back porch. It was fun to watch it happen again.
I love this beautiful home.

We should find a picture of you from when you were a cute kid sitting in that house. There may be one scanned in somewhere. You could put it in your blog book.
Thank you for sharing these pictures and your sweet memories. What a beautiful tribute to Grammie. She taught each of her Granddaughters to love beauty and nature. She is a gracious Southern lady and we all share a special bond with her.
Love, Aunt Sandy
